This intensive is designed for grapplers who want to feel more confident and intentional when training and competing from the feet.
Whether you’re someone who immediately pulls guard, avoids stand-up exchanges, or simply wants a clearer understanding of how wrestling fits into jiu-jitsu, this workshop is designed to provide a practical and structured framework that can be applied immediately.

Over two days, we’ll focus on the fundamental skills and decision-making processes that allow athletes to engage confidently in stand-up exchanges.
Topics will include:
- Hand fighting fundamentals and grip engagement
- Clinch control and positional dominance
- Creating angles and offensive opportunities
- Common mistakes grapplers make during stand-up exchanges
- How to recover and solve problems when an attack doesn’t go as planned
- Wrestling concepts specifically adapted for jiu-jitsu
- Wrestling up and creating offensive opportunities from the bottom position
